Finishing:
Before sewing the items together, you should line the interior with whatever material you wish to
use, then sew the front and back together. I used felt for the first layer of my footings, cutting out
a template of my foot just a little bit bigger than what it actually is and then sewing the felt to the
boot on the inside. Then, using craft foam, and flexible cork, I used my foot template again but
cut closer to the actual size of my feet. You will need to cut 2 templates from the cork, and one
from the craft foam per boot. Layer one cork template, craft foam, and then cork again securing
them with hot glue. For the bottom of my boots I used leather which I secured to the craft
foam/cork creation with hot glue being careful to wrap it tightly, but making it as smooth as
possible. I managed to do this by cutting into the leather at the turnings around the heel part and
toe parts and folding the leather over itself. Securing the leather wrapped craft foam/cork footing
to the felt/knitting boot is done by sewing it into place. You may want to use sewing pins to pin
everything in place. After you get through this step you can add a welt or any sort of decorative
finishing you want. I made an I-cord welt using the same yarns and sewed/ hot glued them in
place around the bottom.

Now you have comfy outdoor/indoor boots to hang out in during the cold winter months!

OMG!!!!!! Those are too cute! I am going make at least a couple pairs.
Thank you for posting this pattern. I will have too make a matching pair to go with the Pea coat I am making from the Mason-Dixon Knitting Outside the Rules. What an awesome combo they would make. Great Job!!!

Can you please post a picture of what the bobble should look like? I can't see it in the pictures you have and I'm having some trouble with it. Thanks!

What's the gauge for this pattern? They're adorable and I'd love to make a pair, but I tend to knit very tightly and may have to change my needle size to end up with the right size slipper! Thanks!

Could you explain the "MB" section? Am I suppose to do all 8 steps halfway through the row?
